For vehicles equipped with the B284 engine, do not use the hose supplied with the repair kit. Instead, reuse the hose from the existing fuel pump.
Note that the B284 fuel pump contains an internal regulator. If this regulator has failed and caused the fuel pump to malfunction, this repair kit will not resolve the issue. In such cases, the only effective solution is to replace the entire fuel pump assembly.
